Champagne Daiquiri




Here’s a slightly spicy twist on a daiquiri for those who like champagne (or in my case Prosecco).

Ingredients

  • 1 measure Pampero Anniversario rum
  • 1 measure Velvet Falernum
  • Juice of half a lime
  • 1 measure Brut Champagne (or in my case Prosecco)
  • Angostura bitters
  • A twist of lemon peel
Serves 1

Shake the rum, falernum and lime juice over ice and strain into a chilled glass (preferably with a large ice cube). Top with champagne, and add a few drops of angostura bitters. Garnish with the lemon peel.
